Journey Church is Jesus-centered church that exists to help people find and follow Jesus together.

Each weekend, we hope you will feel at home with us as we are inspired by excellent music and challenged by biblical messages that apply to everyday life.

LOCATION AND TIME

We meet every Sunday at 10:00 at the Sherwood Center for the Arts, located at 22689 SW Pine St., in Sherwood. You can also join us online to watch the livestream by clicking HERE.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Engaging Worship

The purpose of our Sunday gathering is to create an environment where you and your family can encounter Jesus, together. Our music is authentic, engaging, and focused on Jesus. The messages you'll hear at Journey Church will come from the Word of God and apply to your everyday life. God's truth is real and it's as applicable today as it has always been. Feel free to listen to a message or two to get an idea of the topics we teach on and our pastor's teaching style.

Journey Kids

Every Sunday children 3 years thru 5th grade stay with their families during our time of musical worship. They are then excused to their Journey Kids classes. Your children are very important to us. That is why Journey Kids creates a safe and fun place for your kids to hang out with other kids while learning to live like Jesus, too. For more information, click HERE.

Journey Youth

Middle school and high schools students meet Sunday evening at the Sherwood YMCA Teen Center from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The mission of Journey Youth is to empower young men and women to live a Jesus-centered lifestyle by gathering for discipleship and service. For more information, click HERE. 

FAQ'S

When is the best time to arrive?
We suggest arriving 10 minutes early. This allows you to park, complete the children's check-in process with Journey Kids, grab yourself a cup of coffee, and find a good seat.

What should I wear?
Casual dress is very appropriate at Journey Church. You will see everything from button down shirts and jeans to golf shirts and shorts. We simply encourage people to be comfortable.

Is a nursery provided for my infant?
We have a nursery available for children up to 3 years old starting at 9:50 a.m., although parents can feel free to have their infants with them in the main worship service if that feels more comfortable.
